12TH/13TH CENTURY

The thin wooden book cover painted with three mandorla surrounded deities, the central deity being Shiva and Parvathi with Nandi, flanked by sons Ganesh to the left and Kartikeya to the right. The exterior with remnant painted scrolling foliage.

Wear to the paintwork, some old insect damage, particularly to the corners. Some small losses to the corners.
