A FRENCH EMPIRE ORMOLU MANTEL CLOCK
The gilt metal case decorated with a winged woman holding a shell and surmounting a globe wrapped in a flowing cloth with sunburst back drop. The dial with black enamelled Roman numerals.
49 x 33.5 x 12 cm

Estimate $800 - $1,200

Sold for $2,600

The case is in good condition.
No signs of repair; one loss at the front by the globe.
There are surface marks and scratches conclusive with age.
Key and pendulum present.
The movement is ticking over nicely but we haven't tested it for time.
