The pendant presents in good overall condition, however has previously had a pin fitting to the reverse which has been removed. The chain displays minor wear (kink in one area).

Louis Armand RAULT (1847-1903): French Sculptor, Jeweller and Medalist. He was a contemporay of Rene Lalique; it is highly likely that they knew each other.
