Engraved 'WIDEAWAKE' favourite charger of his Royal Highness The Duke of Cambridge. Carried his Royal Highness at the Battles of Alma and Inkermann, he was shot through the leg at Inkermann Died December 1869.
Retailed by Arnold & Sons, London.
The Silver mounts hallmarked London, 1869, maker Charles Shipway.
