With a discerning eye for line, form and tone, Traill's etchings are recognised widely for addressing the transformation of the landscape during a time where industrialisation was taking a hold. Her works pay homage to the innocence of nature and the simplistic beauty of elements such as moonlight, silhouettes, late evening forms and glistening stars.
