Lot 116
Vue de Nice from Promenade des Anglais
gouache on brown paper
unsigned
42 x 59cm
Estimate $3,000 - $4,000
The work is in good condition. There is a small tear in the far upper left corner, approximate 1.5cm in length. There are also minor crease lines to the paper visible in the upper left corner.
There is evidence of a previous tear along the left hand side although this may have been stabilised and now displays a blue pigment.
The work is house in an impressive gold frame, with some losses to the frame edges.
