Private collection, Adelaide

Part of an influential group of female artists' in South Australia, Lisette studied painting under Adelaide Perry and later moved to Melbourne to study at the George Bell School. Throughout her life, she was deeply involved in the local art world and also  joined the self-styled group formed by Dorrit Black titled 'Group 9'. She is a prime example of a female artist whose work has faded into obscurity and is only now rightfully being rediscovered.
