"My recent works started off as an exploration into portraiture by alternative means. My methodology has involved removing the focus on an individual subject and instead looking at the collective traces of human movement and its impact within the urban spaces of the world. During my earlier explorations of portraiture, I became fascinated with the factors driving the human diaspora and with this current work I move deeper into the present and also contemplate the future also. Recognising that we are amid a massive revolution, we stand at the crossroads of either massive societal transformation or our own extinction. My current reading and thinking has lead me to believe that a more symbiotic relationship between our technologies and nature is the key to not only our survival but what will propel us into our rightful role of guardianship and protectors of all with whom we share this planet." - The Artist -
