In high neoclassical taste, the top with a crossbanded border in hairwood, inlaid with satinwood and mahogany in ribbon, acanthus and floral motifs. The central panel inlaid with a large, elaborate anthemion motif surrounded by bold hairwood acanthus leaves, framed by a large fan-shaped panel in a satinwood and mahogany veneered whorl pattern with very fine stringing. The deep apron inlaid with garland and ribbon inked motifs above four elegant square, tapered and banded legs. Brass plaque for 'S & H Jewell', fine antique dealers London, to base.

Early repairs including minor infill to a couple of the inlays. Age expected separation cracks to curved veneers at front and side panels. Minor fold line across the top of the table. Presents very well and overall is in good condition with no visible signs of loss or damage.
