The etching reproduces the eponymous painting of 1966
"How eagerly he is looking for in all this beauty, what gentle of spatial and light effects opens ("Door number 6"). Because it does not dull the whole irrational "Kafkaesque" interior, whatever creepy the Association did not cause the room door ("Ward No. 6" by Chekhov), but would have resembled the lamp of the "Guernica" of Picasso or the rooms and the mirrors Chagall, all the depth of poetry and the own vision," wrote Michael Herman about the picture of Rabin "Door number 6" (1966).
