There are some losses detected on the surface, two in the upper left hand side 12cm from the left (3-5mm in diameter). There are two losses of paint seen in the upper right, approximately 17cm from the right hand side of the worl (3-5mm diameter). There are some scuffs and marks to the frame.

Daws grew up on the Fleurieu Peninsula in South Australia, and from 1970 until 2010, lived by the Glasshouse Mountains at Beerwah on the edge of a Queensland rainforest, where many of his best-known works were created.
