QING DYNASTY (1644-1912), CIRCA 17TH/18TH CENTURY
The waisted rectangular kang table with straight square section legs terminating in hoof feet, the legs joined on all sides with a humpback stretcher. The grain of the wood highly figured particularly to the top including multiple 'ghost face' knots, of excellent deep honey colour and exhibiting the original clear lacquer finish. Enamelled brass plaque bearing the De Voogd name to the underside.
