The tureen is in good order and both the cover and body ring sound; it is marked 'Old Briar Castles / Johnson Bros' and the pattern has a tilte in the decoration 'Berry Pomeroy / Castle 1792'; the plates are both Mason's 'Vista' pattern, one plate has heavy crazing and staining and has a dull tone when tapped, the other plate is in good order
