FOUR SETS OF ENGLISH PORCELAIN TEA WARE
18TH & 19TH CENTURY

The first set comprising a tea cup, coffee cup and saucer decorated in a blue and egg yolk palette, painted 'Spode 4600' to reverse in red. The second set, comprising a tea cup, coffee cup and saucer, decorated in gilt- blue stripes, no marks to reverse, Flight Worcester, circa 1785. The third set is Caughley, comprising a coffee can, saucer and underplate, decorated in Angouleme sprigs motifs, the coffee can and saucer with the crest and cipher of Sir John Webb of Oldstock, Wiltshire, no marks to reverse, circa 1785. The fourth set is Chamberlain's Worcester, comprising a coffee cup, tea cup, saucer and underplate, decorated in Chamberlain's pattern no. 2 with Chinese inspired floral motifs, 'No. 2' painted in red to reverse of underplate, circa 1797.

the first set with light wear to gilding , particularly to underplate.
the second set with wear to gilding. the saucer does not ring true- possible repairs.
The third set with small chip to footrim of cup,the saucer with paint splashes to saucer. the underplate with significant gilding loss.
The fourth set with overall losses to enamel. Significant star crack to centre of underplate and hairline to rim. No visible faults to tea bowl or tea cup.
