THREE ENGLISH ARMORIAL CUPS AND SAUCERS
19TH CENTURY
The first, a two handled chocolate cup on stand, richly covered in a cobalt blue glaze with gilded crest and monogram 'SJK' to each side. Marked "Chamberlain's Regent China Worcester to reverse. The second, of generous proportions with a repeating clover motif, above a finely decorated eagle crest of an Irish Viscount and the motto, ' Gloria Quo Coelum Que Vocant'. No marks to reverse, but Chamberlain's Worcester. The third, also of generous proportions, with a floral and C-scroll border, with a crest of a knight beneath the motto ' Paratus Ad Arma'. Davenport factory mark to base.
