Deep full plate fire gilt movement with square pillars, fusee and chain with worm and wheel barrel setup between the plates. Pierced and engraved winged cock with mask, pierced and engraved foot. Plain steel balance, silver regulator disc. Movement signed 'Tho Utting, Yarmouth'. The silver champleve dial with Roman and Arabic numerals, signed 'Tho Utting', blued steel beetle and poker hands. Plain inner silver case stamped 'WB 1645'. Fine outer case covered in tortoiseshell which is inlaid with decorate foliate designs and birds.

The pique work to tortoiseshell case in good condition, scratching and rubbing consistent with age, a couple of minor cracks. The watch case in good condition, the steel hands with some rust spots.
