CIRCA 1790-1800
The tankard decorated with an unusual masonic scene and bearing the signature of John Aynsley of Lane End. The tea cannister decorated with a courting scene to one side and family scene to the other, signed by Thomas Fletcher. The whole topped with a metal lid.

The tankard 12cm high & 11.5cm wide (including handle). The cannister 11.3cm high

repaired crack to cannister mouthrim. wear to transfer decoration in places. metal lid with small dents.
Tankard:
small star crack to interior of base. crazing in places, staining to one side of tankard. wear to the transfer print in places- particuarly the moon.
