Noticeable fading to the bed head from sun exposure, losses and restorations to the veneer and ebonised carving, the overall having scratches, dents and stains all consistent with age, some lifting in places to the brass inlay, some impressions/marks to areas of the marquetry on head and foot, some later additions to the mattress frame supports and inner brackets.
