With a brass gadrooned pommel, ribbed grip and gadrooned brass chappe, the blade with engraved foliate decoration and the inscription "WAN ICH DAS SCHWERT DU AUF HEBEN" and a Catherine wheel to one side, the other side with 'SO WUNSCH ICH DEM ARMEN SUNDER DAS EWIGE LEBEN 1674" with a gallows.

In very good condition with minor age expected discolouration to the blade, patination to the bronze mounts and age expected wear to the hilt. The grip length between pommel and cross-guard is 14cm.
