In very good condition with no visible signs of repair, age related splitting on top and evidence of minor woodworm.

Irwin Untermyer (1886 -1973) was an American attorney, jurist, and civic leader most notable for his work in New York City. An avid collector of art and antiques, over 2,000 items from his personal collection were bequeathed to the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
