Steven Ajzenberg is a figurative painter with a considered process, infused with a wry sense of humour. Recent works are focused and often satirical, complemented by economical use of colour and composition. His auction artwork, created in 2018, playfully depicts a girl drawing herself and is an excellent example of his individualistic style and use of humour. Ajzenberg has worked at Arts Project since 2000 and presented his first self-titled solo exhibition in 2010. His work is held in private collections Australiawide.
