Adrian Lazzaro is an emerging multi-disciplinary artist working across painting, drawing, printmaking, soft-sculpture and artist zines. He is an avid journaler and single-mindedly focuses on reconstructing wrestlers, vampires and zombies into new compositions, infused with dark humour and overlayed with political and social commentary. Lesbian Ceremony, from 2019, reflects his emphatic support of gay marriage and marriage equality more broadly. Lazzaro has worked at Arts Project since 2004, and his work has been exhibited in group shows nationally and internationally. His work has been acquired by public institutions and is held in private collections Australiawide.
