Bobby Kyriakopoulos is a mid-career artist encompassing painting, drawing and digital art in his practice. Though his subject matter is diverse, a sense of nostalgia threads though the works, connecting them. Cowboys is a tender portrait, the character posing deliberately, expression set in wistful gaze, comfortable yet aware he is being watched. Bobby Kyriakopoulos has worked at Arts Project Australia studio since 2011. His work is held in the National Gallery of Victoria collection.
