BY PETER AND ANNE BATEMAN, LONDON, CIRCA 1795

The boat-shaped tureen with reeded decoration, flanked by two elongated scroll-form reeded handles, surmounted by a detachable lid with repeating acanthus motifs and an urn finial, all raised on an oval raised pedestal base.
Approximately 626 gms silver
16.5cm high, 25cm wide, 12.5cm deep

Some possible resoldering to handles, the lid appears slightly warped when placed on the tureen, light surface scratches from use
