colour screenprint 54/200
on conventry rag paper

26 x 34cm (image) and 30.5 x 38cm (sheet)
Estimate $15,000 - $20,000
This artwork is in overall very good condition. The paper (in margin area) bares small pinhead size dots/imprints raised on the surface of the work creating a speckled look. This is only visable when inspected up close. Located predominantly in the lower right, a small area in the lower left and smaller in the upper left (this does not effect the work of art)

Littman, K., and Jehle, W., Keith Haring, Complete Editions on Paper, 1982–1990, Cantz, Stuttgart, 1993, p. 82 (illus., another example)
The Pop Shop opened in 1986 in Soho, New York. Haring saw the Pop Shop as an extension of his work, a fun boutique where his art could be accessible to everyone. This series of work was created by Haring to coincide with the opening of the shops, and he used bold colours, and memorable motifs to appeal to the masses.
