The hinged top incorporating marquetry, burr walnut and kingwood, with a central shell motif and gilded brass moulding to the edges, opening to a fitted vanity with mirror and single drawer decorated with marquetry, raised on tapered fluted legs applied with ormolu, united with stretchers
