There are no monograms in evidence; there are a number of slight dents in places, most of which only been seen from the interior, with the exception of one larger dent to the lower body and one other to the centre of one side. There is overall heavy wear and areas of pitting to the entire piece, including multiple 'nicks' to the rim; there is evidence of a gilt wash to the interior which is now mostly worn away.
