This work relates to the environmental impact of coastal erosion on Quandamooka Country in Stradbroke Island, Queensland. Sourcing natural materials from this area, Cockatoo-Collins pays homage to Dunwich (Goompi) a sacred gathering site which has been impacted by recent environmental devastation by the using ochre for her ceramic work from this sacred location.
