A CHINESE BLACK-GLAZED CIZHOU-TYPE BOWL
NORTHERN SONG (960-1127) OR JIN (1115-1234) DYNASTY

The stoneware bowl with gently inwardly turning mouth, resting on a wide splaying foot, covered in a deep brownish-black glaze, thinning to russet at the mouth. Possibly Hebi kilns.
6cm high, 17cm diameter

Estimate $500 - $700

Sold for $650

Small scratches and wear to the glaze from normal use.
