Kalmaldain/ Composer 2005
screenprint with collage additions W/P (red and blue)
editioned, titled, signed and dated below image
100 x 97cm, frame size: 121 x 113.5cm
Estimate $4,000 - $6,000
There is a foreign stain to the upper left hand edge of the work, approx. 1cm.
There are three notable creases to the left edge of the collage, approx. 4cm each. There is a crease on the 'O' of the collage, resulting in a bend going backwards.
There are multiple creases across the tip of the gun.
There are creases across the lower centre of the work, in the paper, not the collage. There are noticable creases at the tip of the red gun and there are notable creases to the right corner of the collage and a small tear to the upper right hand corner of the artwork approx. 5mm.
This work has a wave most likely caused by the weight of the collaged section.
Framed with some wear.
