MING DYNASTY (1368-1644), CIRCA 15TH CENTURY
Of bombe form on three legs, with incised lattice decoration to the sides, covered in a pleasant sea-green glaze. Together with an old hardwood stand and lid surmounted by a carved soapstone finial decorated with lingzhi fungus.

Small restored chip and associated crack to the rim. Two hairline cracks emanating from the rim. Multiple firing cracks to the glaze and body, including a large open firing crack to the base with infill. Small chips to the soapstone finial.
