With an aptitude for drawing and a keen sense of space, Matthew Bendix creates considered works that are precise and concentrated in their application.

Matthew Bendix is an emerging artist who finds inspiration in his love for watching old films, retro gaming devices and handheld LCD games. Recently, he started exploring water colour and began painting a series of Australian birds on paper, which are vivid in colour and beautifully illustrated.

Bendix has worked at Arts Project Australia since 2019 and has exhibited in group exhibitions in Melbourne. His work is held in private collections in Australia.
