Untitled is a wonderful example of Robert Brown's expressive style; the surface bursting with life, composed with a fresh, vibrant colour palette.

Robert Brown is an accomplished abstract painter whose work is characterised by his use of pop and fluoro colour and spontaneous layering of floral motifs. Typically working on large sheets of paper and canvas, he draws inspiration from found images of landscapes, reinterpreting what he sees with great freedom to create bright compositions, balancing highly concentrated pattern with quiet space.

Brown has worked at Arts Project since 2001 and has exhibited extensively throughout Australia. He has work in the Artbank Collection in Melbourne, as well as private collections worldwide.
