Untitled is a beautiful example of Garreffa's practice, the dark purple and black mass highlighted and lifted by flecks of gold, blue, green and pink.

John Garreffa is an emerging artist. In his rainbow pallet of acrylic, watercolour and Prisma colour pencils, he employs a flurry of mark-making to create energetic works on paper. Inspired by cars, figures, still life and memory, his artworks appear organic and abstract. His bight painterly colours and sketchy lines converge, creating unexpected and vibrant compositions.

Garreffa has been a regular artist at Arts Project Australia since 2017, and he has exhibited in annual Gala exhibitions.A66:B67
