In Granvillani's work Not titled a collection of words and phrases like 'jedi kitten', 'lost the gold city' and 'clock old museum' leap from the page in random fashion.

Joshua Granvillani is an emerging artist who explores text and simple figurative and design elements using acrylic, coloured pencil, dry pastel and paint pen on paper. The text comes from his imagination, however, stems from television ads, words and images he encounters in his life, for example, 'metro tunnel', 'moon', Zach King' and 'Sonic Sonic' appear in recent works. Along with text, he experiments with colour and composition in his work along with some graphic logos or pictures of faces, eyes, and characters such as Sonic the hedgehog.

Granvillani started at Arts Project Australia in 2020 and the Virtual Gala will be his first exhibition with Arts Project Australia.
