McKenzie's abstract painting is striking in its composition a colour palette.

Kay McKenzie is a late-career artist who works with acrylic and pencil on paper. She uses paint to depict flora and fauna, rainbows, landscapes and still life compositions arranged in the studio. Working in large scale format, she uses bold colours and experimental brush strokes to create joyful and expressive works.

McKenzie has worked at Arts Project Australia since 2019 and has exhibited in annual group exhibitions.
