O'Meara's practice explores soft patterning evocative of river reeds and rushes. The tender application of ink affords the works a gentle sway as if pushed by the breeze.

Ross O'Meara is an emerging artist working expressively with ink on paper. Utilising a landscape orientation for his work, he splashes brightly coloured ink across the page, which has the dynamism and seeming spontaneity of a Jackson Pollock painting.

O'Meara has been an artist at Arts Project Australia since 2019 and has exhibited in its annual group exhibition as well as the emerging artist exhibition Pleased to Meet You. His work is held in private collections in Australia.
