Untitled is a wonderful example of Katherine Sholl's soft mark-making and delicate lines, with the simplified form engaging in its quirky abstraction.

Katherine Sholl in an emerging artist: she experiments with a range of media, visual imagery and techniques. Her work draws from her many interests, from animals, horses, landscapes, trees and botanical imagery, to a constructed still life. Her folio of work is diverse—on the one hand, her bold gestural painting is remarkably assured. In contrast, her small drawings on coloured ink grounds reveal soft mark-making and delicate lines.

Sholl has worked in the Arts Project studio since 2015 and has exhibited in Arts Project Australia's annual group exhibitions. Her work is held in private collections.
