This piece exemplifies Rebecca Vanston's aptitude for drawing, the dignified disposition of the tiger precisely captured.
Rebecca Vanston's is an emerging artist with a digital, printmaking, drawing and ceramic art practice. She bases her drypoint prints on anime and animal hybrid characters she invents and adapts from anime and video games. Her work frequently features animals and heroic fantasy figures in dynamic poses, building engaging narratives around the characters she develops.
Vanston has worked in the studio since 2013 and has exhibited at No Vacancy Gallery and Craft Victoria in Melbourne. Her work is held in private collections.
