In 1996 Robin Warren received and invitation from the Victorian Tapestry Workshop to translate one of his paintings into a tapestry. The result is a beautifully rendered piece in rich, saturated colours, the wind torn tree set against a deep red sky.
Robin Warren has been practicing for over 20 years at Arts Project Australia however his career as an artists began a number of years before joining the studio program, having exhibited in Dublin at the Irish Museum of Modern Art in 1998. Since then he has been presented in group exhibitions across Australia and internationally. His work is in public and private collections both in Australia and overseas.
