Featured in a touring exhibition by the South Australian Museum in Adelaide, this work travelled to the Asia Society Galleries in New York, The David Alfred Smart Gallery at the University of Chicago, Los Angeles Museum of Natural History and then returning to Australia in September 1989 to be exhibited at the Museum of Victoria and the South Australia Museum in 1990.

The Ngalaji is a tuber that resembles a small potato. In this painting women are shown digging for Ngalaji. Represented by concentric circles, with its roots as the lines linking the circles. This Dreaming belongs to Nungarrayi and Napaljarri women's skins whose brothers and fathers own a similar variation of the story.
