The serpentine front with a hinged lid and shell marquetry, opening to a fitted interior for cutlery, the shield escutcheon monogrammed 'R.L'.

Minor signs of lifting to the veneer on the lid and body, the lid does not close entirely on the left side, minor scratches and dents overall, repairs to the veneer around the top back right corner of the lid, the wooden insert may be later.
