the top has shrinkage gaps (up to about 8mm) between its two main planks and between the ends of these planks and the triangular sections that form the ends of the top; the top and rest of the table is otherwise in good condition commensurate with age and use, with superficial knocks, surface blemishes, and short (non-structural) shrinkage cracks, etc.; each drawer front has a pair of small filled holes where previous handles have been removed; there is evidence of past woodworm activity, principally around the lower parts of the legs, but no indication this is recent.
