This artwork bears the following inscription verso:
"This painting depicts the site of Pinarri, north west of Kintore. It is an important Tingari men's Dreaming site. The Tingari are a group of mythical characters of the Dreaming who travelled over vast stretches of the country, performing rituals, creating and shaping particular sites. As events associated with the Tingari cycle are of a secret nature, no further details were given by the artist."
