In reasonably good condition relative to age and use. The frame (which is beech, not oak as catalogued) is structurally sound but superficially worn and dirty, the paintwork being more lightly and evenly worn to the frame but largely lost on the caning; the caned panels remain tight and free of damage, excepting a couple of spots of damage to the seat and front panel; there are some old worm holes and other small holes around the frame; the fittings beneath the seat have previously been removed.
