WANLI MARK AND OF THE PERIOD (1572-1620)

The rectangular box decorated to the sides with a repeating scrolling lotus design, and to the lid with an ascending five-clawed dragon and descending phoenix. Six-character mark for Wanli within a double rectangle to the base. Together with an associated old Japanese hardwood stand.
5cm high, 10cm wide, 8cm deep
