Darren Siwes is one of Australia's leading contemporary Indigenous photographers. Siwes often features the urban landscape within which his own ghost-like figure is presented. Challenging the stereotype for an Aboriginal man, Siwes here is depicted in a button-up shirt and tie, standing firmly upon the land beneath him.

This work is also held in the Collection of the National Gallery of Australia, Canberra (another example)
