ANCIENT REGION OF GANDHARA, CIRCA 3RD CENTURY

Gracefully modelled as a female head with delicate feautures, a a high and elaborate coiffure, the face and coiffure beautifully polished. Mounted on a grey metal-clad stand.
The head 33cm high, 19cm wide. With stand 43cm high

Reconstructed from smaller fragments, with associated small areas and lines of infill. Various small losses. Remnant soil encrustation.
