Overall in good condition consitient with age and use, with nice polish and upholstery, three chairs have old repaired cracks to the top rail corners.

Jacob Kjaer (Denmark, 1896-1957) was a furniture designer and cabinetmaker who exhibited internationally and furthered the reputation of the Danish furniture industry in the early 20th century. One of his most notable designs is the FN chair designed for use at the United Nations Building in New York City.
