A FRENCH WHITE ALABASTER AND GILT METAL STRIKING MYSTERY CLOCK
Last quarter 19th century, the eight-day twin barrel movement striking on a bell by Japy with Brevete stamp, surmounted by a classically draped female figure holding the pendulum with steel and brass rod and black enamelled bob with stars, the white enamelled dial with Roman numerals and gilt hands.
Height 58cm

Some wear to gilt on figure, minor chips to some corners and angles on alabaster, scratches to alabaster base where figure is standing, alteration to the loop holding the pendulum, has not been tested for time
